Add Software Objects to Modules
Available Functionality
You have functionality that can be turned on for any Software Object or turned off. This allows you more control of your Software Objects and how they work.
Charts
You and your users has the ability to run charts to help visualize your software data. You can choose what Software Objects are available for users to use with charts. The Data Type is a drop down list with all the Software Objects that you enabled for Charts.
Reports
The reporting works the same way as the charts. You have the ability to control which Software Objects will be used within the reporting. The Data Type is a drop down list with all the Software Objects that you enabled for Reports.
Mail Merge
You can control which Software Objects can be used in Mail Merge templates. When you include a Software Object, then the user can create templates based on that Software Object's fields. They will also be able to run the template by clicking the Run Mail Merge button on the Software Object.
Cloning Software Objects
Cloning allows you and your end users the ability to copy a record with one button. It creates a duplicate of the record that you can later edit. You can control which Software Object can be cloned.
Audit Trail
When you turn on Auditing within your software program, you will also need to distinguish which items are going to be audited. Auditing is an expensive resource. It is highly recommended to only enable Auditing on important Software Objects while keeping it off for the rest of your Software Objects.
To turn on Auditing for you Software Object, check the Audit Trail box.
